Toddlers love painting and while they may not be making puffy clouds or self stick-figure portraits yet, those chaotic brush strokes of mixed color are a baby’s first masterpiece.
Part of exploring color and your child’s artistic side is the ability to work with different mediums. Sand in my toes shared a great idea of painting on foil and I loved this idea so I tried it at home with my 2 – year old. So here it is, foil painting fun!
I started by covering her table with foil paper.
I then dropped different colors all over.
She loved it and wanted to keep on painting even after she covered the foil with paint.
I wanted to preserve some of this early artwork so I copied it by pressing a clean paper over it.
What will you little Picasso make?
